About Us

The Club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and is run on a voluntary basis by an elected Committee and helpers. The Club focuses on tennis development for young people and is proud of the many successes of our juniors including achieving world rankings.

The courts are available for members use 365 days of the year. There are organised social tennis sessions, coaching sessions and league matches. Outside of these sessions the courts are available to members to organise their own matches.

Floodlights are available on the three all weather courts from 16.00 to 21.30 during the winter.

A typical week during the Summer may be;

Monday & Wednesday 18.30 - 21.30 Social Tennis

Tuesdays and Thursdays 18.30 - 21.30 League Matches

Fridays to 19.30 Junior night

Saturday morning Junior Academy

Saturday afternoon 14.30 - 17.30 Social Tennis

Midweek Ladies have a social tennis session on Wednesday afternoons.

The schedule during the Winter is the same as above except Tuesday evening is dedicated to the Ladies Teams practise and Thursday evenings are dedicated to the Men's Teams.

Organised coaching takes place every day of the week - see the current programme on the Coaching programme page.

Social and fund raising events such as American Tournaments, quiz nights, parties are organised on a regular basis. See the Events Page for further information. An electronic newsletter is distributed every month.

Maintenance

The Club relies upon volunteers to help with the general upkeep of the Club and its grounds.

'Maintenance Days' are announced from time to time.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse has a bar, kitchen, showers and games facilities for the juniors.
