Wayfarers Tennis Club was founded more than 70 years ago and is situated in the heart of Ickenham, close to Swakeleys House.  
 
The Club has 6 floodlit tennis courts; three hard courts and three covered in an all weather Claytex carpet surface.  The Club is open all-year round and welcomes all ages and standards.
 
The Club prides itself on its youth programmes. We have today over 60 Juniors who regularly play tennis and enjoy the social facilities of the Club. 
 
The coaching team  provides a comprehensive coaching programme every week for mini tennis (5 - 10 years old), juniors, adult novices and team players. The coaching team are available for individual and group lessons.
 
Throughout the year, the Club enters teams in various Middlesex tournaments and for the summer tournaments the Club has 4 Ladies' teams and 4 Men's teams.
 
The Clubhouse has a bar, showers, a dedicated junior room and there is ample parking.

Social Activities

Social tennis takes place every Saturday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon (mid week ladies) and  Wednesday evenings.
 
The Club also organises regular social events such as American Tournaments and Quiz Nights.

10 weekly sessions starting Saturday January 14
Costs: £25 for 10 sessions payable at commencement of coaching
Time: 12.00 - 13.00 tennis skills and techniques coaching followed by social mix in
(sponsored by London Borough of Hillingdon)
 

Valentines Disco Saturday 18th February

 

Tickets are £5 each and available from Debra Marskell. This is an adult event and tickets must be bought before friday 17th february (no ticket..no entry!)

 

All ticket proceeds will go towards the running of the Glebby Tournament which this year will take place on May 7th.

 

Each year we celebrate the life of Glen Edwards - a Wayfarers intermediate - by running a young people's tournament open to local clubs.  Glen was tragically killed in a car accident.  

  So, please come along and support the Glebby Fund.
